Ubisoft said today it’s acquiring World in Conflict developer Massive Entertainment was lost within the Activision Blizzard merger.
“We are delighted to welcome the talented team of creators at Massive into the Ubisoft family,” says Christine Burgess-Quemard, executive director of worldwide production studios at Ubisoft.
The deal will be good news for World in Conflict fans, with the up and coming release of World in Conflict Soviet Assault in the works, it seemed to have lost in limbo? The main question on most people’s lips might be, Why did Activision let Massive Entertainment go?
“We are fortunate to have found in Ubisoft a publisher who shares the same values and understands our mindset. I have no doubt that our future together will offer significant mutual benefit and synergy.”
From this statement, there seems there could of been some bad blood there?
